Community Development & Service

National Service Scheme (NSS)

Established in 1987 with a vision to promote social service, community upliftment, and responsible citizenship among undergraduate students.

Official NSS Motto: "Not Me But You"

Building Compassionate Leaders Since 1987

The NSS Unit at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College started with 100 pioneering student volunteers in 1987. Recognizing its expansive reach and enthusiastic student participation, NSS Unit II was established in 1995.

Today, the program continues to instill a profound sense of empathy, teamwork, and social accountability, helping students grow into compassionate citizens while addressing pressing community needs.

Participation in NSS provides students with structured opportunities to engage with diverse communities, build organizational capacities, and enrich their leadership portfolios.
