Achievements

The recent decade has recorded several milestones achieved by the college, its students and its teachers.

A total of 75 students have decorated the Roll of Honour by securing ranks declared by the University of Mysore since 1987-88 — a practice the university discontinued announcing from 2006-07 onward. At the PG level, 82 ranks, 15 gold medals and 7 cash prizes were secured by students.

Students have also recorded achievements in sports, social service, outreach, co-curricular competitions, literature and culture. Among the most prominent: Bhumika and Yogendra representing the college at the Prime Minister's Rally (2016 and 2017), and Ullas as Best NSS Volunteer (2016).

Figures reflect faculty academic progress recorded during the previous decade. Teachers have also groomed students in leadership development through the college's unique governance model, the Student Parliament, run under ASIC — Administration, Student Support, Institution Support and Co-curricular Support — giving every student representative a platform to build leadership ability. The model works as "One Additional Responsibility – One Additional Opportunity" for both faculty and students.

The Education Report, published by the college since 2010, documents all of this through classified data and photographs, and has received wide appreciation from scholars and educationists.
