Where Our Alumni Have Gone

Our alumni hold high the Mahajana flag as leaders of their professions in places such as London, Sydney, Cape Town, Cambridge, and Harvard, creating benchmarks. A vibrant Alumni Association provides feedback to the college from time to time.

Activities & Contributions of the Alumni Association

• Instituted endowment scholarships and prizes for students of different courses — including the TAJ Merit Prize, Shantha Vishveshwaraiah Memorial Merit Prize (by Kavitha), K S Santhosh Merit Prize, K S Swapna Merit Prize, and the Best Journalism Student Award (by Venkatnag Sobers), among others.
• Share their experiences with freshers during the Orientation Programme.
• Have joined the Mahajana fraternity as teaching and non-teaching staff.
• Provide financial assistance to needy students.
• Some work as reporters in electronic and print media, giving wide coverage to the college's activities.
• Are involved in the academic and administrative development of the institution — one alumnus serves as a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
• Assistance in publishing books written by alumni — including Mr. Avinash, renowned theatre artist, and Mr. Eshwar, Assistant Professor in Commerce at the college.
