Our alumni hold high the Mahajana flag as leaders of their professions in such places as London, Sydney, Cape Town, Cambridge, Harvard, creating benchmarks. A vibrant Alumni Association provides feedback to college from time to time.
The activities and contributions of the Alumni Association are:
- They have instituted endowment scholarships and prizes for the students of different courses. To mention a few TAJ Merit Prize, Shantha Vishveshwaraiah Memorial Merit Prize by Kavitha, K S Santhosh Merit Prize, K S Swapna Merit Prize, Best Journalism Student Award by Venkatnag Sobers etc.
- They share their experiences with the fresher’s in the Orientation Programme.
- They have joined Mahajana fraternity as teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Provide financial assistance to the needy students.
- Some are working as reporters in the electronic media and print media, give a wide coverage for the activities of the college.
- They are also involved in the academic and administrative development of the institution. One of them is a member of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell.
- Assistance in publishing the books written by the Alumni (Mr. Avinash, renowned theater artist and Mr. Eshwar, Assistant Professor in Commerce of our college).
