CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL - REPORT ON CAMPUS PLACEMENT DRIVE 2024

The placement cell's major goal is to support students in their personal and professional lives, with a focus on teaching them employebility skills and facilitating student placement in various industries and organizations through holding campus recruiting drives. The placement cell's programs in the current academic year gave students a great opportunity to develop their employability skills.

On March 27, 2024, at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell hosted a one-day Campus Drive. The Campus Drive officially began at 11:30 am with Kriya NextWealth Pvt Ltd. Was taken over by Senior Manager Sunil A T started with presentation about the introduction of company Kriya Nextwealth provides end-to-end retail business services to enterprise e Commerce companies around the globe.

Kriya handles ITES/BPM/KPO/IT Services which leverages global delivery centers to deliver predictable and flexible business process management services. A key aspect of our service delivery is the successful transition of business processes from the client’s locations to our delivery centers in Project Preparation, Planning and Solution design, Testing, Pilot & Execution, Service Assumption. Kriya’s vision is to create employment opportunities for women, disabled individuals, and People living in tier 2 and tier 3 cities, and encourage the students to join the company as a Process associate.

English Partner joined the drive at 12:40PM and was taken over by HR Manushree Dhondale assisted with Rakshith Naik, Dinesh, Anusha and Arjun also joined the drive with PPT introduction at AVC II, The interview was mainly based on communication and grammar. I came to know about the vacancy for basic trainer and applied for the job role. HR contacted me and the interview was purely to examine the communication followed by which started the first round of interveiw , in which communication skills were tested of each of our participated students among 38 were attended in this round of interview .

Later in the afternoon 1pm, from Svr Global Innovation Mr. Madhusudhan and Ms Arpitha Had  joined in our campus with 10 companies at AVC III, their organization to search the right talent to drive its business objectives were fulfilled by the students and the Campus Recruitment Drive conducted by us. Recruitment teams both on ground and virtual were very positive as the need of their organization to search the right talent to drive its business objectives were fulfilled by the students and the Campus Recruitment Drive conducted by us concluded at 5 pm in the evening.  Our Principle Dr. B.R Jayakumari and CEO Dr. S.R  Ramesh were witness the on-campus Drive.

Ms Arpitha said at this event, students will have the opportunity to interview for HR executive and intern positions with leading companies in various industries. Additionally, SVR TechSchool will be hosting a career counseling session to provide valuable insights and guidance for students as they navigate their career paths.We believe that this event will be immensely beneficial for your students as they transition from academia to the professional world. It is our goal to support them in every way possible as they embark on their career journeys.

CAREER GUIDANCE AND PLACEMENT CELL IN COLLABORATION WITH MAHAM 2023

REPORT ON CAREER EXPO 2023

The placement cell's major goal is to support students in their personal and professional lives, with a focus on teaching them employability skills and facilitating student placement in various industries and organizations through holding campus recruiting drives.The placement cell's programs in the current academic year gave students a great opportunity to develop their employability skills..

On July 4, 2023, at SBRR Mahajana First Grade College, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell hosted a one-day Career Expo in conjunction with MAHAM National Fest. The Career Expo officially began at 10 am.The program's chief guest was Hon. T. Muralidhar Bhagavat, President of the Mahajana Education Society.  In order to ensure the success of this campus push, President Hon'ble T Muralidhar Bhagavat encouraged and provided support in all areas. He also emphasized the importance of such initiatives for enhancing students' self-confidence and for projecting a positive image.  In his speech, the President emphasized his happiness at being able to offer Mahajana's UG and PG students a high-quality education. He offered numerous suggestions for choosing a vocation in life based on one's aptitude and ability.

Dr. T Vijayalakshmi Muralidhar presided the program. Sri. Harish Machaiah  HOD of MBA program, Pooja Bhagavat Memorial Mahajana Post Graduation Centre, Dr. S R Ramesh CEO, Academic Advisor,  SBRR Mahajana First Grade College (A), Dr. B R Jayakkumari , Principal, SBRR Mahajana First Grade College (A) were present.

After the Inauguration the career expo commenced and concluded at 5 pm in the evening. Around 350 candidates participated in the campus recruitment drive, out of which   candidates were qualified after the first round. Qualified candidates would be   assessed on their technical skills in the next round by respective companies.   Recruitment teams both on ground and virtual were very positive as the need of their organization to search the right talent to drive its business objectives were fulfilled by the students and the Campus Recruitment Drive conducted by us.

8 on ground companies and 8 virtual companies conducted the pool campus drive  2 Career guidance Institutions put up the stalls on campus to educate students about the prospects of studying in Foreign Universities. The Students of various colleges under University of Mysore participated in the drive.
